We are delighted to announce that Lee Walker, former professional, former World Seniors Champion and current WPBSA Level 3 coach has agreed to become an Ambassador for South Wales Snooker.

He becomes our third Ambassador after Welsh Women No.1, Laura Evans and Redz Academy Coach Ric Washer as we look to create a passionate and diverse community focused on our goal of creating opportunities to get more people in South Wales playing and enjoying snooker.

Lee has worked with some of the greats of the game including 3 x World Champion Mark Williams, as well as other current tour players including Ryan Day and Ng On-yee.

Over the last few years, his work with Liam Davies has seen the youngster climb to great levels, being the first ever player to win the European U16, U18s and U21s in the same season in 2022.

Lee often travels around the world to work with elite coaching setups, including the Hong Kong Sports Institute and numerous setups throughout China. He is the right hand man to other professional Snooker Coach Stephen Feeney, assisting Stephen with training SightRight Coaches on an international level.

We look forward to working closely with Lee to help support and create opportunities for youngsters in South Wales over the coming months and years.
